Wargaming Lab Program Coordinator
PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Wargaming Lab - Security Studies Program (SSP), to provide operational and administrative support, and coordinate events, meetings and seminars for the MIT SSP Wargaming Lab (WGL); and provide day-to-day operational activities, working closely with the co-directors of the Lab, developing, implementing, and monitoring program and project plans.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of events planning and/or project/program management experience; demonstrated success planning and implementing events; ability to coordinate several events and projects simultaneously; strong organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; technical proficiency with MS Office/Outlook and willingness to learn new programs and software as needed;
ability to learn and master financial systems; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when working with visitors.
Occasional weekday evening and weekend work, along with some domestic and possible international travel will be required.
