Job Summary: Manage plan, and implement the delivery ofregistrar operations including maintenance of student information systems, production of data, queries and reports and general system coordination.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment Services will serve as aleader in Enrollment Services and a key member of the Registrar’smanagement team. The Assistant Registrar will assist the Associate Registrar in leading the Enrollment Services team, which performscritical FAS enrollment functions, including registration,matriculation, student progress and degree auditing, enrollment data reporting, assessment of more than half a billion dollars intuition and fees per year, student discipline outcomes, constituentservices, degree certification, and graduation.
This position willplay a critical role in the assessment, prioritization and management of Enrollment Services related projects. The Assistant Registrar will supervise the Enrollment Services Coordinator,including assessing performance, guiding day-to-day activities, and utilizing resources wisely. This position will also contribute tothe formulation of Registrar, College, and GSAS student enrollmentpolicies and other Registrarial responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Higher Education or related management field preferred Advanced computer skills, specifically related to student databases and office productivity software
- Ability to manage staff in a way that contributes to the goalsof the Registrar
- Proven experience showing good judgment and decision making
Knowledge of federal, state and University regulations

This position has been determined by school or unit leaders thatsome of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions mustwork in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts .Additional
