Our client, a well-established family-run independent garage in Cambridge, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced professional dedicated to automotive excellence, particularly in prestige vehicle servicing and repairs. Key duties for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Perform diagnostics and inspections on a variety of prestige vehicles
  • Carry out MOT testing as an MOT Tester
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to high-quality standards, and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for all repairs and services
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet targets and maintain excellent customer satisfaction
  • Support the workshop in achieving productivity and quality benchmarks Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Master Technician, Vehicle Technician, or MOT Tester
    • MOT Tester qualification or willingness to obtain certification
    • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge, particularly within prestige vehicle servicing
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Passion for working with high-end vehicles and a keen attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
    • A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship
