ANB Sensors Ltd has ambitious growth plans over the next five years and is looking for a talented individual to join their expanding commercial team. The role reports directly to the CCO and involves building on the company's current traction.
About us: ANB Sensors is an SME specializing in environmental sensors aimed at creating a more sustainable planet. Our unique sensors for water quality monitoring address a market gap, and we seek a sales-focused, self-starting individual eager to join us on our journey towards global success.
Responsibilities- Minimum of five years of sales experience in technical products within the mining sector
- Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets
- Degree in business, marketing, science, or engineering
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience bringing disruptive new technologies to market
- Building a sales pipeline from scratch
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Hubspot)
- Strong motivation and results-oriented approach
- Knowledge of standard sales strategies, processes, and procedures
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use knowledge, experience, and judgment to plan and achieve goals
- Understanding of different commercial models
- Experience in business strategy development and introducing new products to new markets
- Knowledge of chemical sensors and the water industry
- Ability to develop market strategies that create opportunities, including product development and market pricing
- Formal sales methodology training
- Ability to prospect and develop new customers within designated sales verticals
- Conduct customer visits to support their needs and requirements
- Accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities
- Identify new markets and facilitate cross-pollination within assigned verticals
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to meet KPIs and revenue goals
- Monitor and report on market developments, including competitor actions and strategies
- Represent the company at industrial exhibitions and conferences
As the company grows, the role will expand to include:
- Developing personal networks with customers and stakeholders to capture market needs and gather feedback for future product enhancements
- Identifying appropriate channels to market, such as direct sales, OEMs, re-sellers/distributors, or partners
- Handling administrative tasks including reports, forecasts, inventory, budgets, and expenses
- Collaborating with product development, marketing, and other departments to maximize market penetration
