How

will you make an impact?

The Senior Director of National Biobank Initiatives will lead a global team responsible for securing strategic partnerships with national biobanks and large-scale population health programs worldwide. This role drives the development and execution of complex deal strategies, ensuring Olink and Thermo Fisher proteomics solutions are selected as the preferred platforms for national-level biomarker and multi-omics initiatives.

The leader will build alignment across diverse internal stakeholders—including commercial, scientific, regulatory, and operations teams—to deliver coordinated, high-impact solutions for these strategic accounts. Externally, the role requires engagement with government bodies, policymakers, and public health leaders to articulate the value of proteomics in advancing population health, translational research, and precision medicine. Success in this position depends on orchestrating cross-functional collaboration, influencing senior decision-makers, and consistently delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder partnerships that establish long-term national programs.

will you get here? Education

Bachelor degree preferred in business, science, engineering or related field

Relevant industry certifications a plus

Experience
  • 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or related technical industries
  • Strong record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and supporting profitable growth
  • Experience leading and developing large sales teams in a matrix environment
  • Strong business acumen with P&L management experience and ability to develop/execute commercial strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-level customer relationships
  • Excellence in sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Experience working with multiple sales channels including direct, distribution, and e-commerce
  • Effective talent management skills - recruiting, developing and retaining team members
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions globally
  • Proficiency with sales tools, CRM systems and business analytics
  • Travel up to 50% required

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $–$.
