Our staff applies expertise in economics, science, engineering, business, computer modeling, and data management to cutting‑edge environmental and natural resource policy and management issues. Position OverviewAnalyst to support one or more of IEc’s key practice areas, including public policy analysis, applied economics, environmental management and policy, natural resource damage assessment, program evaluation, finance, and sustainability. IEc Research Analysts (RAs) perform research and data gathering and organizing tasks; conduct quantitative analyses using a variety of economic, financial, or scientific methods; and communicate results in written reports and presentations.

- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, may work as part of large, multidisciplinary teams or more independently depending on the project
- Collaborate, exhibit intellectual curiosity, possess strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills, pay careful attention to detail, and communicate effectively.
Bachelor’s or equivalent international degree in a relevant field (see above). Candidates with graduate degrees will not be considered for this position.
Compensation and Advancement- IEc offers competitive salaries ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 commensurate with experience, as well as an annual performance bonus averaging 10% of annual salary.

IEc office is located in Cambridge, MA; this position requires presence in the office at least three days a week, with remaining days as optional hybrid working arrangements.
