About the Role

The Global Brand Lead, ITP (Associate Director) is responsible for driving global commercial initiatives during pre-commercialization planning and early market development, translating early asset strategy into clear commercial priorities, and leading the development of brand identity, promotional campaigns, and key messaging with a view toward other indications.

This role partners closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure materials are compliant, impactful, and clear. It collaborates with a fully integrated cross‑functional team, including regional and country stakeholders, to align the early Global Brand Plan, integrate regional and country insights, and support internal business planning and OPEX management.

How you will contribute

You will drive global commercial initiatives as part of the pre-commercialization planning or early market building efforts.

  • Translate early asset strategy into actionable commercial priorities.
  • Drive development of the brand identity, promotional campaigns, and key messages with a view for other indications.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure all materials are compliant while maximizing impact and clarity.
Responsibilities
  • Align the matrixed organization on the early Global Brand Plan to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Capture and integrate regional/country voice and feedback into commercial initiatives.
  • Support sub‑teams and contribute to their deliverables as needed.
  • Contribute to key planning deliverables (Global Brand Plan, LRF inputs, budget cycles).
  • Manage OPEX and monitor performance versus plan for key marketing growth initiatives.
  • Manage external partners/vendors and ensure timely, high‑quality project execution.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • University degree in marketing, business, or life sciences (advanced degree a plus).
  • 8+ years of pharma experience; experience in the therapeutic area or rare disease a plus.
  • Experienced marketer with in‑line brand experience (US or global).
  • Launch experience preferred (US or global).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Technical / Functional Expertise
  • Knowledge and experience with digital engagement among patients and HCPs.
  • Business acumen with appreciation for cross‑cultural and cross‑functional differences.
  • Ability to understand and interpret medical information; working knowledge of evidence‑based medicine.

  • Strong organizational skills and managing up and down.
  • Learning agility, curiosity, and aptitude for new technologies.
