Business Analysis

The team is responsible for the Operational (run) Budget concerning research software and maintenance. In addition, they will be responsible for a whole suite of technology expenses via a transfer from internal business counterparts. This budget transfer—requires various logistical planning, thorough excel research, and analysis on our end. Therefore, we seek a BA resource who’s a self-starter, motivated, and good with excel and numbers.

Required Skills:
  • High coordination skills to track and manage various activities and communicate with stakeholders.
  • High level of experience with Microsoft tools – Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced data analysis skills – Pivot tables, X-Lookups, etc.
  • Support Financial Management with forecasting and adherence to the operating budget by understanding and tracking contracts, renewals, and costs.
  • Flexible work schedule to meet with US-based stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently when given appropriate direction.
  • Communicate with Takeda stakeholders regarding progress, unclear requests, and general information sharing
  • Proven ability to elicit information from customers and other interfacing groups to understand current processing and new/enhanced requirements for future processing.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to seamlessly perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Expert level of written and verbal communication.
Desired Skills (not required, but the candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in Management Information Systems, Finance, Life Sciences, or Project Management.
  • Strong work tenure and a Self-Starter. 2-3 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
