Position SummaryAitia is seeking a scientifically deep and relationship-oriented Alliance Manager to support and strengthen strategic partnerships with biotech, pharmaceutical, non-profit organizations, and research institutes. This role will focus on maintaining and growing existing partner relationships, ensuring effective collaboration, communicating the impact of breakthrough science, and supporting initiatives that drive long‑term value.
The Alliance Manager serves as the primary relationship owner between internal cross‑functional teams and external partners, ensuring value realization, governance excellence, and execution of alliance objectives aligned with the corporate strategy. The position requires strong scientific and business acumen, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex, global partnerships across different stages of development.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and eager to develop a deep understanding of Aitia, our partners, and the scientific and business goals that drive successful collaborations and lead to transformative therapies for patients with unmet needs.
Responsibilities- Support the execution of partnership strategies that contribute to long‑term growth and collaboration success.
- Contribute to partnership design and develop strategies for project execution of post‑deal readiness activities.
- Propose and execute partnership guiding principles and objectives; recommend changes to governance structure as needed, and develop and optimize joint ways of working.
- Act as a technical expert on partnership contracts, facilitating contract agreement execution and contributing to contract development and amendments.
- Drive partnership governance, ensuring alignment with internal and partner collaborators on agenda, preparation, and outcomes tracking.
- Build knowledge of partner capabilities and establish relationships with partner counterparts, representing the voice of the alliance.
- Build strong relationships externally with all key stakeholders in each collaboration.
- Collaborate with internal scientific, business development, operations, and leadership teams to support partnership goals and deliverables.
- Track partnership activities, milestones, action items, and follow‑up communications.
- Develop partnership reporting and monitor partnership health; make data‑driven recommendations to improve performance and address challenges.
- Implement tools and best practices for best‑in‑class partnership execution.
- Drive functional learnings within each partnership.
- Represent Aitia professionally in meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Stay informed on industry trends, partner landscapes, and emerging opportunities within biotech and pharma.
Required
- BS or MS in a biological science, quantitative discipline, or related field required;
