Manager, Commercial Leadership Development Program

Overview

The Sanofi Specialty Care Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP) develops a leadership pipeline of early‑top talent. Over two years participants undertake three commercial or related functional rotations—Marketing, Market Access, Sales, New Product Planning, Digital, Medical, Strategy, Business Development, China & International, and the Office of the EVP—working with both U.S. and global teams. The rotations are strategic, challenging, and designed to impact patients worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a long‑term strategic view of disease‑area portfolios.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of brand strategies and tactical plans.
  • Support optimal pricing strategy development across indications for brands.
  • Refine pricing potential assessment in individual indications; conduct research on pricing strategies in major markets.
  • Coordinate Budget 2026 and Strat‑Plan 2026, including Leadership team presentations.
  • Build materials and provide support for internal governance reviews.
  • Identify and communicate best practices across markets and functions.
  • Develop, track, and be responsible for programs, tactics, and key performance metrics for a brand.
  • Conduct market research to inform brand strategies and tactics.
  • Contribute to analytical and strategic projects (e.g., pricing, market models, forecasting).
  • Drive business development activities, including due diligence, modeling, business‑case development, market research, and deal negotiation.
  • Perform financial valuation and strategic analysis of new opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). 3 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, finance, science, marketing, sales, operations, healthcare consulting, strategy, or investment banking.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Desire to serve patients; passion for the patient. Excellent communication skills. Interpersonally savvy and able to collaborate across boundaries. Solutions orientation with an above‑the‑line mentality. Strong analytical skills and ability to package and present cohesive insights. Demonstrated action orientation, willingness to challenge the status quo, and a high ambition for learning and career growth.
