Associate Director, Brand Analytics – Systemic Mastocytosis (SM)

The Associate Director, Brand Analytics – Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) will report to the Director of Insights & Analytics – Systemic Mastocytosis and will be a strategic partner to Sanofi’s U.S. commercial leadership, delivering analytics support for AYVAKIT and pipeline SM products.
MainResponsibilities
- Act as strategic partner and subject matter expert for brand leadership in key commercial activities/work streams such as brand planning, performance reviews, new indication launches, and assessment of new initiatives.
- Partner with brand team to develop and measure KPIs closely aligned with brand strategy and tactics.
- Lead development and maintenance of KPI reports for the broader commercial team, leveraging insights from marketing, sales, PSS, and market access functions.
- Synthesize brand performance metrics into a cohesive narrative and deliver strategic insights to commercial leadership.
- Drive development and refinement of dynamic performance dashboards to enable agile commercial decision‑making.
- Support new launches through leadership of behavioral segmentation and targeting.
- Perform ad‑hoc national and sub‑national analyses to proactively identify opportunities and threats using marketing tactic utilization, sales execution, and customer adoption metrics.
- Collaborate with Brand Analytics & Forecasting leads on TA/business‑unit‑level performance overviews and deep dives.
- Partner with Advanced Analytics colleagues to support optimization of promotional investments (e.g., marketing mix analyses) and to understand key business levers through AI/ML models.
- Engage with Field Deployment / Reporting colleagues to produce national and sub‑national sales force effectiveness reports.
- Coordinate with Data Management to ensure insights are derived from reliable, high‑quality information.
- Coach junior I&A team members through onboarding, upskilling, and training in Sanofi‑specific processes/data.
- Collaborate with offshore Sanofi Hub I&A team members to deliver Brand Analytics insights and provide day‑to‑day leadership in a matrix management structure.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics (manufacturer or consulting).
- Strong business acumen with well‑developed communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to design, develop, and execute analyses to answer complex business questions.
- Patient‑level claims data experience (IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data management & analysis platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
- Experience with specialty pharmacy/patient services data and national‑level sales/demand data.
- Core analytics programming languages (SQL, R, Python, VBA).
- Data visualization/business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or PowerPoint‑based dashboards).
- CRM system experience (Veeva, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience in rare disease, oncology, or hematology therapeutic areas.
- Ability to collaborate with Advanced Analytics teams on AI/ML applications; hands‑on data science experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and handle ambiguity.
- Strong project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with many cross‑functional partners.

- Track record of delivering exceptional results.
- Competitive salary range: $148,500 – $214,500.
