Eligibility and Program DetailsiMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. You’ll work closely with our business development and portfolio management leaders to support strategic initiatives, operational processes, competitive research, and transactional activities. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of product, operations and business development in the dynamic digital health space within the biopharma industry.
Main Responsibilities- Support the product lifecycle within digital partnership initiatives, including contributing to feature definition, release planning, and product documentation.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to support business development operations, deal tracking, and strategic decision‑making.
- Develop and implement GenAI and automation tooling to improve business functions, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of business development reports, presentations, dashboards, and other critical communications – leveraging data visualization and technical tools.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, applying data‑driven methodologies to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to build/buy/partner assessments and potential partner landscape analyses, combining technical evaluation with business strategy.
- Monitor industry developments, track competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – including R&D, Finance, Legal, etc. – to ensure alignment of digital product and BD activities with overall company strategy.
- On a case‑by‑case basis, support BD leads in the execution of business transactions, including licensing agreements, partnerships, and acquisitions.
At least 1 year full‑time hands‑on experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or software development.
Exposure to GenAI tools, APIs, and/or automation frameworks is a strong plus.
Soft and Technical Skills- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Business acumen and genuine interest in the biopharma and digital health landscape, willingness and ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to emerging business questions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong intellectual curiosity and a builder’s mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Interest or coursework in digital health, biopharma, or life sciences.
- Proficiency in data analytics or business intelligence tools.
- Foundational programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar languages).
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, prompt engineering, or LLM‑based applications.
- Product development mindset – understanding of product lifecycle, feature prioritization, and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) is a plus.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Digital Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates with a dual background in technology and business (e.g., MBA with a technical specialization) are also encouraged to apply.
