The Business Operations Administrator is responsible for important functions within Forrester such as administration of our sales compensation tool, ownership of company quota files and territory management, just to name a few. This role will have a solid understanding of these tools and processes. The chosen candidate will participate in monthly maintenance including data entry, reporting, and inbox management.
Job Description:- Manage day-to-day administration of global sales quotas.
- Ensure new sales employees are set up timely and accurately within our sales compensation tool (Xactly/Incent).
- Leverage Salesforce reporting and queries.
- Collaborate with sales operations and compensation manager to ensure optimal outcomes for all internal clients and ensure that synergies are maintained between the compensation system and operational processes.
- Act as liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of both compensation guidelines/policies and rules of engagement.
- Act as liaison with internal IT department on system-related requirements.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly bookings, performance, and payout data.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling.
- Manage company inboxes and queues for business operations and quota and comp.
- A bachelor's degree with two to five years of related experience.
- Experience with Xactly Incent preferred.
- Strong in cross-team communication and collaboration.
- Experience with MS Excel required.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- The ability to demonstrate accountability for area of responsibility and assume ownership of tasks and processes.
- The ability to demonstrate strategic thinking in approach to projects and work.
- The ability to understand the implications and consequences of decisions.
- The ability to manage multiple deadline assignments with multiple individuals representing a broad range of personalities.
- The ability to build and maintain personal rapport with senior-level employees.
- Someone who is highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Someone who is proactive, professional, creative, and dynamic.
Base salary range: $62,000 - $102,000
