Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex utility infrastructure projects in Cambridge, MA. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth with a reputable organization.

• Lead and oversee daily field construction activities for T&D projects
• Ensure safe, timely, and profitable project execution
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure contractual compliance
• Manage scheduling and coordinate T&D construction activities
• Oversee high voltage transmission lines, steel structures, drilled piers, duct banks, grounding systems, substations, and related infrastructure
• Monitor safety performance, conduct audits, and review PTAs & TSOs
• Track productivity, installed quantities, and project progress
• Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage and maintenance
• Walk down systems prior to and during testing to ensure compliance
• Develop and manage punch lists
• Ensure use of current drawing revisions in the field
• Authorize field change requests and support construction documentation
• Maintain strong communication with clients, A/E representatives, and subcontractors
• Complete daily field reports and construction documentation

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree + 7 years of construction management or craft supervision experience on T&D projects
• OR
• Associate Degree + 9 years relevant experience
• OR
• High School Diploma/GED + 11 years relevant experience

Additional Requirements:

• Proven experience in Transmission & Distribution construction
