DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is opening operations in the Cambridge, Ohio area and is hiring outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Laborers (Groundman). The role will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work on new business projects within our Telecom Construction division, and is a great opportunity to be part of the initial team establishing Team Fishel as a leader in the utility construction industry in Eastern Ohio.
Responsibilities- Work as part of an overhead telecom crew
- Load, unload, layout, and prep tools, supplies, equipment, and materials needed at each job site
- Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the lineman, foreman, or supervisor
- Handle physically demanding construction duties
- Valid CDL-A strongly desired
- Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions
- Valid driver's license required with clean driving record for the last 3 years
- Basic tools required may include climbing tools (belt and gaffs) and basic hand tools
