Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
ob title: Superintendent — Commercial Construction (Assistant through Senior)
Location: Cape Cod & the Islands | Boston Metro | Central Massachusetts Employment type: Full-time
We are recruiting Superintendents at multiple levels for an established commercial general contractor with work across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Four seats are open across three markets — Cape Cod and the Islands, the Boston Metro area, and Central Massachusetts — at both the Senior and Assistant level.
What the Senior Superintendent ownsThe site is yours. You set and hold the schedule, sequence the trades, run daily coordination, and own quality and safety on the ground. You are the company's presence in front of the owner and the design team, and you are the person the trades take direction from. Depending on the market, you may be running a single large project or coordinating across more than one site.
Whatthe Assistant Superintendent owns
You work alongside the Superintendent on daily field coordination, quality control walks, safety compliance, deficiency tracking, and documentation. You learn to run a site by running pieces of one. Strong performers here move into their own project.
What we're looking for- Senior: roughly 8+ years running commercial construction sites, with projects you can walk through in detail — what you sequenced, what went wrong, and what you did about it
- Assistant: 2 to 5 years in the field — assistant super, foreman, or a trade background you're ready to build on
- OSHA 30 preferred; CPR/First Aid a plus
- Real command of scheduling, trade sequencing, and inspection coordination
- The ability to hold a hard line with a subcontractor on Tuesday and still have the relationship on Wednesday
- Willingness to work in the market you're applying for — tell us which one
Field leadership is treated as leadership here, not just supervision. Safety is backed by actual policy and an annual company safety summit, not a binder nobody opens. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision; company-paid life insurance; paid vacation, holidays, and personal time; 401(k); and paid professional development and certifications.
