Visitor Experience Representative

This role requires onsite work, including weekends, in Cambridge, MA.

Compensation: $22/hour

• Greet visitors warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the admissions desk
• Acquire and share knowledge about the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and programs to assist visitors effectively
• Ensure safety and security within gallery spaces by monitoring guest activities as a gallery attendant
• Support daily operations by maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for all guests
• Collaborate with team members and report on visitor experiences to enhance service quality

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service within hospitality, retail, entertainment, or cultural organizations
• Proven skills in digital communication, interpersonal relations, and conflict resolution
• Strong judgment and initiative to address issues swiftly, including safety and security concerns
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work 32-40 hours weekly, including Saturday and Sunday shifts
• Willingness to work onsite in Cambridge, MA
