Dentistry / General Dentist, Dental Hygiene
We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! We are a smaller office with 2 dentists and 5 chairs that treats mostly adults. We focus on quality patient care - WE ARE NOT A FACTORY! I may be biased, but we have a great team here that helps each other out and gets along!
Responsibilities- Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
- Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily
- Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
- Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
- Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required
- Certified to perform CPR
- Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
$55 - $63/hour
About Cambridge SmilesWe are a general dentistry office, treating patients ages 8 and up. Our goal at Cambridge Smiles is to provide top-quality care to our patients. Doesn't everyone say that? What makes us different?
We have worked to grow a team that actually enjoys working together. That doesn't mean the work can't be challenging, but it is much more bearable with a good group of people by your side.
We are a privately owned office, so we are able to have more control over how the office is run and the quality of care we provide to our patients.
