Overview

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our organization.

• The Hospital Medicine Division at Baystate Health consists of over 250 dedicated physicians & APPs practicing evidence-based medicine throughout our 4 hospitals in western MA.
• Baystate Medical Center, our 716-bed flagship hospital in Springfield MA, is a level 1 trauma center and tertiary care center. Our hospitalists also provide services at our community hospitals which are within a 20–45-minute radius.
• We offer a 3 on/4 off schedule, 12-hour shifts with rotational Saturday coverage. Excellent support from swing shift, APP cross coverage and specialty services.
• Our hospitalists are responsible for more than 40,000 discharges annually system wide across all medical and surgical subspecialties, accounting for more than 250,000 encounters throughout our four hospitals.

We are able to sponsor H1b visas but are unable to provide J1 waivers for day shift positions.

ABMS BE/BC in internal medicine. We seek physicians dedicated to a hospital medicine career. Hospitalist experience strongly preferred.
