Radiation Oncology Opportunity – Live and Work on Cape Cod
Cape Cod Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established team in the soon to be opened Edwin Barbey Patient Care Pavilion.
This position will provide services at both of our sites in Hyannis and Falmouth, MA. The cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a comprehensive cancer center, and as an accredited breast program through the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the radiation oncology department is accredited by the American College of Radiology. Treatment is delivered on Varian Edge and True Beam machines with Exac Trac Dynamic patient monitoring, HDR therapy on Bravos afterloader.
A superficial unit is being used for skin and benign conditions. Experience with IMRT and IGRT, low dose rate prostate seed implantation, HDR brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT preferred. State of the art planning technology including MIM and Eclipse are utilized as well as a combination of Epic and Aria electronic medical records. Work with our team including A certified physicists, CMD certified dosimetrists, oncology certified nurses and ARRT certified radiation therapists.
Supportive services team members include an oncology social worker, oncology dietician and financial counselors. Call is divided equally among physicians.
The ideal candidate values a collaborative working relationship with medical oncology, physics, dosimetry and nursing staff to provide the highest level of comprehensive care throughout the patients oncological diagnosis.
