Summary Description

BB&N is seeking an Upper School Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Spring Season. The Strength & Conditioning Coach will report to the Director of Athletics and work closely with the Associate Director of Athletics. The BB&N Athletic Department expects its coaches to operate within the athletic philosophy of BB&N and adhere to the BB&N coaches’ manual as well as the Independent School League (ISL) and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC).

Tasks And Responsibilities

Key functions for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing a strength training and conditioning program for upper school students who sign up for the spring season in conjunction with another strength and conditioning coach.
  • Tracking athlete attendance and athlete progression in conjunction with another strength and conditioning coach.
  • Upholding policies and procedures for the strength and conditioning program in accordance with the NSCA Strength and Conditioning Professional Standards Guidelines.
  • Communicating with students relevant information regarding the schedule and program.

    Supervising the behavior of students in the strength and conditioning rooms.
  • Seeking assistance should emergencies arise.
  • Other duties as assigned.
