WhatYou'll Need
- Current and active Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) Educator License this is a must.
- Previous experience teaching special education students in inclusive or resource settings, preferably at the upper elementary or middle school level.
- Strong skills in differentiation, small group facilitation, and adaptability to various learning needs.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
- Provide specially designed instruction for 5th and 6th-grade students using a hybrid model offering push-in, pull-out, and small group support based on each student’s needs.
- Work in partnership with general education teachers to deliver accommodations and modifications within the classroom.
- Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs, ensuring progress toward goals is tracked and documented.
- Participate in team meetings, collaborate on lesson planning, and communicate regularly regarding student progress.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.20 to $47.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
