You’ll work with both 5th and 6th-grade students, collaborating closely with educators and support staff to ensure every learner thrives. This assignment runs from September 2026 through January 2027, offering an engaging and supportive environment where your expertise can truly make a difference.

• Current and active Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) Educator License this is a must.
• Previous experience teaching special education students in inclusive or resource settings, preferably at the upper elementary or middle school level.
• Strong skills in differentiation, small group facilitation, and adaptability to various learning needs.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families.

• Provide specially designed instruction for 5th and 6th-grade students using a hybrid model offering push-in, pull-out, and small group support based on each student’s needs.
• Work in partnership with general education teachers to deliver accommodations and modifications within the classroom.
• Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs, ensuring progress toward goals is tracked and documented.
• Participate in team meetings, collaborate on lesson planning, and communicate regularly regarding student progress.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.20 to $47.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
