Fletcher Elementary School anticipates the need for a part-time art teacher, 2 days per week, beginning in the fall. The successful candidate will teach general art classes for students in Kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as engage in other art-related initiatives. Strong collaboration skills, a working knowledge of PBIS, and a proven track record of inspiring students to love and make art is required.

This position is currently scheduled for Tuesday/Thursday; however, we can work with the ideal candidate’s schedule with flexibility. The preferred schedule is 4 FTE, with Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred but will work with candidate’s schedule.

Fletcher Elementary is a small rural elementary school, pre K to 6th grade. We have an innovative, supportive staff and a very personalized service delivery model. Our community is a heterogeneous blend of farmers and professionals. We have a standards-based curriculum, use Responsive Classroom, and enjoy tremendous community support. Fletcher is a wonderful place to work with unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities, close to Montreal and Burlington.
