Responsibilities- Maintain communication with the upper schools about the students.
- Maintain communication with the Office of Student Services at CRLS to assist student transition.
- Maintain communication with the Mayor Youth Summer Employment Program (MYSEP) to meet MYSEP worksite requirements.
- Apply comprehensive statistical data analysis to inform curricular and placement instructions for the fall.
- Assist teachers with curriculum development and alignment.
- Establish and maintain communication with parents to support program success and transition to high school.
- Maintain the standards of the program.
- Coordinate the finances for the program.
- Maintain a connection with the students after they leave the program and enter high school, actively promoting student success through mentoring and guidance.
- Debrief the program with Deans and Guidance Department to provide insight about incoming freshmen.
- Coordinate field trips to local colleges and other educational facilities.
- Connect with CRLS coaches and athletic staff to help students join the sports teams at CRLS.
- Research best practices for summer intervention programs, student connectedness literature, science learner identity literature and apply findings to the program.
- Continue to provide support to the students involved in the program through the school year.
- Develop and oversee a program that supports incoming Freshmen students to strengthen their learning.
- Provide direct supervision of staff, including weekly group/staff check‑ins and one‑to‑one support as needed.
- Work with classroom teachers, content‑area teachers, counselors, and Upper School/CRLS family liaisons to encourage students to participate in the hybrid programming.
- Lead ongoing communication with families, with the support of the school administrator.
- Social skills instruction based on SEL curriculum ideas aligned with the Falcon Block model embedded within each Learning Community.
- Support staff in addressing day‑to‑day needs, including addressing student behavioral issues and engagement.
- Maintain all records, including daily student attendance and follow‑up as needed; keep accurate timesheets; and produce payment vouchers.
Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree and experience working with high school students in academic support/youth development settings. CRLS staff member preferred.

Contract Amount: Not to exceed $12,000.00 (200 hours at $60 per hour)
Hourly Rate: $60 per hour, subject to collective bargaining agreement or individual rate. Non‑exempt employees working over 40 hours per week will receive time and a half for overtime.
