Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education or relevant field (state requirement)
• Experience working with students in K-12 settings, especially in Life Skills or inclusion programs
• Skilled in developing individualized learning plans and supporting IEP goals
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Collaborative attitude and flexibility to adapt to the needs of multiple age groups
• Previous contract or travel assignment experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging Life Skills curriculum for students in elementary, middle, and high school grades
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere encouraging social, academic, and emotional development
• Develop and track measurable goals, adapting instruction based on student progress
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams-teachers, aides, and related service providers-to deliver holistic support
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with families and staff
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and relevant professional development
