Visual Arts and Crafts Instructors Spring 2026

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education is currently seeking proposals from creative, enthusiastic, and experienced visual arts and craft instructors for workshops and classes for adults.

Campus is located in Harvard Square, offering affordable education to all members of the community. CCAE provides a welcoming place committed to experiential, lifelong, face‑to‑face learning, distinguished by students and faculty of diverse backgrounds.

Our classes vary in length, with some being one‑time sessions and others held once a week for nine sessions. We have four terms per year; most classes run two to four times per year. The length and times of your classes will be decided upon by you and your program director.

We are looking to add several new and exciting classes and are open to collaborating with qualified individuals to design new classes pertaining to their expertise and interests. The following examples illustrate the types of classes we are seeking to introduce:

• Late Night (7:45‑9:45 pm) Beginner Drawing
• Paper Arts

• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge within their area
• BA or equivalent experience
• Punctual and reliable
