Cooking With Cannabis Instructor for Spring 2026
Description:
Since 1870, Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) has been dedicated to providing the widest range of high-quality, low-cost learning opportunities for adults in greater Boston. We run nearly 2,000 classes over 4 terms, taught by more than 200 professionals, and own two historic properties in Harvard Square. CCAE is a nonprofit with an annual operating budget of $2.5 million and a staff of 15 FTEs.
The Cambridge Center for Adult Education, located in Harvard Square, is seeking a part-time instructor to teach a cooking or mixology with cannabis class for adults, beginning in our Spring 2026 term. We are also open to collaborating with qualified individuals to design new interdisciplinary classes, including cultural and historical perspectives. If you wish to teach a specific class not listed below, please include a brief (500 characters or less) course description in your letter of interest.
The list below includes general types of classes we are seeking to introduce into our program but is not exhaustive.
- Cooking With Cannabis
- Cannabis Infused Fondue
- Non Alcoholic Cannabis Libations
- Cannabis Infused Baked Goods
The hourly rate begins at $25+/hr (for all instruction and preparation time). Instructors can also take one free class per term, valued up to $300.
Qualifications- Demonstrable experience and success in the food and beverage sector.
- Experience as an educator/instructor.
- Ability to engage a diverse demographic of adult learners.
- A culinary arts degree, training, or experience in a food-related educational field (preferred).
- Lived cultural experience (highly valued).
