Administrative Manager of Teacher Education
Longy School of Music seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized temporary Administrative Manager to support the Master of Music in Music Education (MM/ME) & Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) programs during a paternity leave coverage period (August–November).
Key Responsibilities- Manage course registration, add/drop, and grading processes in Jenzabar
- Coordinate student and faculty communications regarding academic timelines
- Support course setup and troubleshooting in Brightspace
- Attend weekly cross-functional meetings with marketing and program leadership
- Assist with coordination of the Changemakers professional development series
- Provide general administrative and operational support to MM/ME & CAGS programs
- Experience in higher education administration preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and systems simultaneously
- Experience with student information systems (Jenzabar, Banner, or similar) preferred
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Brightspace or similar)
- Training: mid-late July
- Estimated Coverage Period:
August 24 – November 22
