Description of Service Opportunity:
Position Overview & Core Responsibilities
- Student‑Centered Support:
The role is designed for an educator who excels at meeting students where they are academically, providing critical scaffolding, and fostering a supportive, student‑centered learning environment. - Time Split:
The position will divide time between direct student support and innovative curriculum development. - Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
This includes providing individualized and small‑group support, mentoring students enrolled in online and flexible learning programs, and offering building‑wide classroom coverage to ensure continuity of instruction and student success.
MyCAP‑Aligned Curriculum
- Social‑Emotional Learning (SEL):
Engaging courses specifically designed for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support personal growth and independence. - Career Readiness & Future Success:
Electives centered on Business Management, occupational preparation, and navigating future career paths. - Personal Development:
High‑interest topics that help students overcome barriers to achievement while developing meaningful life skills.
