Description:

HDS is seeking to hire two adjunct lecturers to co-teach a full year course (fall and spring semesters, 2026-27) on 19th-century American Transcendentalism and its legacies. Successful applicants should have a completed PhD in a relevant field, ample teaching experience, and a strong publishing record. This course will support the Center for the Study of World Religion's Transcendentalism Initiative.

Basic Qualifications:

Applicants should demonstrate the following qualifications:
Excellence in teaching, scholarship, and research is expected. The doctoral degree must be held by June 30, 2026.
