The Committee on Australian Studies at Harvard University seeks to appoint a distinguished scholar to serve as the Gough Whitlam and Malcolm Fraser Visiting Professor of Australian Studies for the  academic year. The incumbent will hold the title of Visiting Professor, teach two courses, and reside at Harvard for the full academic year.

• Doctorate or terminal degree required.

• Candidates must exhibit intellectual leadership and impact in a field of study and teaching relevant to Australian Studies.
• Candidates qualified to teach in a department, degree program, or field of study offered in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are particularly encouraged.
