Posting Description

LECTURER
, MIT Women’s and Gender Studies Program (WGS), (two part-time openings) to teach six individual undergraduate courses for Fall 2026 – Spring 2027. Will teach either a 2-1 or a 1-2 course load.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:

Masters in related field by July 1, 2026 and at least 2 years of college teaching experience back grounding Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary instruction.

This is a temporary appointment for teaching .

Will teach our core course in Fall and Spring: WGS.
101 Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies M/W 3:30-5PM. For Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, the MIT WGS is seeking candidates who can teach up to two of the following per semester: WGS.
