Assistant Director of Admissions and Events Coordinator
Lesley University is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions and Events Coordinator. Working collaboratively with Enrollment leadership and reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions, this position will play an important role in advancing undergraduate recruitment efforts and supporting the university's enrollment goals. This candidate is responsible for overseeing a recruitment territory, managing enrollment social media platforms, and coordinating recruitment events.
The Assistant Director is expected to travel to regional and national recruitment events, meet with prospective students and families, evaluate applications for admission to our undergraduate programs, and assist with the planning of high-level yield events that support the University's enrollment goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with colleagues within the Enrollment department as well as build cross-departmental connections to aid in successful event coordination.
Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned as needed.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- 1-3+ years of experience working in higher education and/or customer service settings.
- Cross-cultural competence and the ability to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to develop relationships with prospective students, parents, teachers, high school guidance counselors, independent educational consultants, and alumni admissions volunteers via a variety of online platforms.
- Capacity to plan, manage, and conduct travel, recruitment, and counseling activities.
- Ability to host public presentations to groups ranging from 10 to 150 people regarding Lesley's undergraduate programs. Presentations may be held on weekends, select Monday holidays, or in the evening.
- Manage databases and input data using a CRM, Colleague, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.

Base Pay Range: $59,536 - $66,761 annually
