A preschool program in Cambridge, MA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Education Teacher to join its team for a 3-month contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, play-based learning environment while gaining valuable experience with a respected early childhood program.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and committed to creating engaging learning experiences that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Foster children's language, literacy, social-emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Observe and document children's developmental progress.
- Support daily classroom routines, including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and administration to ensure a high-quality educational experience.
- Maintain classroom organization and adhere to all Massachusetts EEC regulations and program policies.
