Adjunct Faculty Position

Lesley University's Department of Counseling and Psychology is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach GCOUN 6026:
Developmental Psychology Across the Lifespan;
Fall Semester 2026;
Wednesdays 4:00 – 6:30 pm (In Person, On Campus).

Course

Description:

This course is designed to explore theory and research on cognitive, affective, moral, and social development from a cross-cultural perspective. Implications for understanding human behavior across the lifespan are addressed. Prerequisites:
Degree candidates in Counseling Psychology or permission of the Division of Counseling and Psychology, Associate Director of Advising and Student Services.

Qualities & Capabilities

A successful candidate will have:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required);
    PhD or terminal degree (preferred)
  • Licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Demonstrated successful teaching experience in the discipline at the graduate level
  • A commitment to integrating social justice practices into the curriculum
