Special Education Teacher in Cambridge, MA

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher/Reading Interventionist supporting 1:1 instruction for middle and high school students. • Valid Special Education Teacher License
• Orton Gillingham credential required
• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Deliver 1:1 instruction to middle or high school students, focusing on reading intervention and specialized instruction
• Utilize the Orton Gillingham approach to support students literacy development and address their individual learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), track student progress, and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families to ensure a comprehensive educational approach
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and district policies
