2nd Class Engineer / Control Room Operator
Facilities – Central Utilities Plant (CUP), is responsible for monitoring, operating and control of the CUP facilities from the distributed control system (DCS) and performs related duties throughout the facilities; ensures all CUP equipment is operated within design parameters and in full compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; conducts plant startups and shutdowns and participates in the review of problems, incidents, and unusual events;
performs routine operational tests and adjustments, maintains accurate records and logs, conducts equipment switching and lockout/tagout procedures and operating plant systems to meet specified and Ice Tec parameters; monitors operations, optimizes performance, ensures emissions control compliance and keeps facilities clean and safe; and troubleshoots equipment failures, operates chillers, boilers, and other CUP equipment and trains Plant Operators in DCS operations.
