Control Manager - Propulsion System

AVL Maroc SARL AU offers a job in Morocco (MA) as

Defining and continuously updating the control architecture for the propulsion domain.

Leading the roadmap and technical direction for control functions, including torque management, energy management, and diagnostics.

Overseeing functional validation activities across SIL/HIL platforms and vehicle testing.

Ensuring full requirements traceability and compliance with industry standards throughout the development cycle.

Driving technical decision‑making in coordination with Software Project Leaders, Hardware Leads, and the Calibration Manager.

Managing KPI reporting and risk tracking in a clear and consistent manner.

Contributing to technical or quality task forces and supporting rapid issue resolution during critical situations.

Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development and testing using a Model‑Based Design approach.

Strong understanding of conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

Solid knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Familiarity with ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and ASPICE standards.

Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, INCA, CANoe, and PLM tools.

Experience in project management and leading technical teams.

Fluent communication skills in both French and English.
