In this role, you will have the opportunity to help us advance healthcare by creating innovative solutions for healthcare providers as well as patients. In healthcare, there are many opportunities and challenges to improve patients' lives by designing solutions for patients and the healthcare organizations that provide care to them.

Your Role
  • Define and execute the usability engineering approach across product development, including creation of usability engineering plans. Coordinate required activities and resources to ensure usability is embedded throughout all design and development phases.
  • Conduct user research and develop use scenarios, task analyses, and workflows. Evaluate cognitive, physical, and situational use contexts using a systems‑thinking approach to inform intuitive, safe, and efficient user experiences.
  • Plan, conduct, and document formative and summative usability studies in compliance with applicable privacy and usability standards. Manage study logistics, participant recruitment, informed consent, and site requirements.
  • Perform usability risk analyses to identify, document, and mitigate potential use errors. Analyze post‑market feedback and data to prioritize usability improvements and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Compile Human Factors Engineering (HFE) reports and usability documentation to support regulatory submissions. Communicate usability findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams including R&D, Clinical, UI/UX, and Systems Engineering.
You are the right fit if:
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering, Human‑Technology Interaction, Cognitive Science, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related field.
  • You bring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in usability engineering, UX design, usability testing, or an equivalent role.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.
