Lab Automation Engineer
R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Lab Automation Engineer in Cambridge, MA
.
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and stabilize ex vivo sample-processing methods on the High Res platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to streamline ex vivo sample-processing workflows.
- Onboard and develop automated methods on the new PE JANUS and Beckman liquid-handling systems.
- Lead the transition of two manual workflows to robotic liquid-handling platforms.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for the integrated High Res system and associated processes.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Bioengineering, Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience operating and programming robotics platforms.
- Ability to understand diverse and complex workflows on liquid‑ and plate‑handling systems, including the sources and statistical assessment of unwarranted assay variance
- Experience with liquid handlers and integrated platform such as Perkin Elmer, High Res Cellario, and Beckman Coulter.

$183,040 - $228,800 (Dependent on Experience)
