Field Service Manager

Salary: $116,200 – $185,920 annually, bonus eligible.

Location:

Remote – candidates must reside in Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, or Washington DC.

• Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing technical field organization (approximately 30 employees) through skill development, certifications, mentoring, performance management, and effective resolution of complex technical issues.
• Strengthen customer partnerships and collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, commercial, project management, and operations teams to align technical capabilities with business needs and drive successful project outcomes.
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance by ensuring adherence to HSE standards, ABB Way processes, risk‑review requirements, and rigorous technical execution practices.
• Oversee operational and technical excellence across field and workshop activities, including resource utilization, cost and productivity management, and accuracy of operational reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering or Business) and 8 years of relevant industry experience in power delivery/power distribution, or an Associate’s degree in a technical field with 15 years of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and a team‑oriented mindset with proven planning and prioritization skills.
• Strong customer‑focused reputation with experience working in culturally diverse, global environments.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint); capable of reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Committed to maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• MUST have a valid work authorization to work in the United States.
