Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Center & BMS Leader

LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER , MA Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC), will work with the facilities maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure the efficient operation of the building's mechanical systems; and be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining and managing the computerized building management system and associated subsystems.

REQUIRED:

• Graduate of a technical or trade school
• A minimum of five years of experience within the past ten years carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Ability to read blueprints, control sequences and have a clear understanding of codes and regulations
• Supervisory experience with mechanical contractors
• Familiarity with building management systems in a facility of similar size and scope, and with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and associated software programs
• Familiarity with information technologies as they relate to data center operations, including networking, cabling and equipment best practices

This position is on site at MGHPCC in Holyoke, MA.

A willingness to participate in an on-call program sharing responsibilities, including days, evenings, and nights as well as weekends and holidays.
