The Production, Mission Operations, and Enhancements Division is seeking Graduating Senior or Recent College Graduate to join the Draper Systems Engineering team. Candidates will learn and apply the fundamentals of systems engineering to a broad, highly technical portfolio. A successful candidate will be highly motivated to support the delivery of technology solutions that are of strategic importance to the nation, dedicated to developing in-depth mission and technology domain expertise that enable realization of such solutions for complex systems, and capable of working & coordinating responsibilities inside a multidisciplinary team.

Tasking may include: identification of customer needs, development of use cases, requirements analysis and flow-down, system concept/architecture development (including analysis of alternatives, test design, interface definition/control, verification/test planning, development of system engineering documentation, model development, vehicle and mission-level simulation development, performance assessment, documentation of analysis results, and presentation of results both internal and external stakeholders.

• Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan.
• Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
• Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
• Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex, industry and customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members, program leadership, and non-technical personnel.
• Be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.

Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.

• Experience with systems engineering and requirements process.
• Experience with systems modeling using SysML.
• Experience in the design of integration hardware/software systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000.00 - $. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
