The Loncar Group is looking for a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in nanofabrication, integrated optics, nonlinear optics, and microwave photonics. The candidate will focus on design, fabrication, and characterization of chip-scale photonic devices and systems, and their application in microwave photonics.
Basic QualificationsPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Physics is required.
Additional Qualifications- Strong background and interest in nanofabrication, including development of novel nanofabrication strategies.
- Expertise with building optical setups, lasers, electronics, including microwave electronics.
- Strong interpersonal and mentorship skills and ability to interact with a diverse team.
$67,600 - $91,826. Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as rank, years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field.
