The company specializes in advanced technology solutions for U.S. national security and employs scientists, engineers, and software developers working on multidisciplinary challenges.

As a Flight Test Engineer, you will bring vehicles from concept to flight by managing full-cycle flight test campaigns across both local and Continental U.S. locations, coordinating logistics, safety, and overall test execution with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute local (New England) and Continental U.S. flight test activities, coordinating with project engineers to identify test objectives and data requirements.
  • Own the details and coordinate resources to execute testing, including scheduling of range time, equipment shipment, and travel arrangements.
  • Ensure necessary test support equipment and instrumentation are available and operable.
  • Champion testing best practices and ensure safe conduct of testing activities.
  • Participate in data reduction and review of test data to verify that objectives were met.
  • Interface with interdisciplinary engineering teams on novel UAS systems.
Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship required or the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience as a test engineer in flight, wind tunnel, or similar testing environments.
  • Experience designing test instrumentation systems for ground and/or flight testing.
  • Experience with test planning and safety assessments for UAS.
  • Data reduction experience in Python, MATLAB, or similar.
  • 25‑50% travel.
  • Part 107 certification.
  • Pilot experience with quad rotors, multirotors, or fixed‑wing aircraft.
  • Familiarity with the experimental aircraft airworthiness release process.
  • Experience testing UAS swarming or multi‑vehicle control.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $90,000 – $135,000 USD. Total compensation may include bonus, stock, and 401(k) match. Benefits include 10 paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
