What You Will Do- Lead an exceptional team while building technologies to support Cyber/EW operations.
- Build and advance a Cyber/EW‑related research area for BBN having measurable impact on business.
- Articulate and execute a vision and tactical direction for BBN and influence the same across RTX.
- Lead cross‑functional teams performing business development, proposal preparation, and execution.
- Hire and develop top‑notch personnel to round out the team you will grow and lead.
- Lead projects and grow your team of collaborators and implementors.
- Distinguish BBN and yourself to customers by leading and performing cutting‑edge research.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 7 years of experience, or a PhD and a minimum of 5 years of experience (experience in lieu of degree will be considered).
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required on day one.
- A proven track record in writing and winning competitive R&D efforts for government funded projects.
- Experience in technical leadership of cybersecurity‑focused R&D teams.
- Working experience on classified government funded research programs.
- Visionary technical leadership and desire to grow and lead a group to achieve that vision.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools to support the research’s software/hardware requirements.
- Experience with reverse engineering, binary analysis, and disassemblers.
- Relevant publications at conferences and in journals.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent mentor and coach.
- Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD, depending on experience and role.
