Requirements- PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of research or industry experience.
- Experience performing measurements of superconducting qubits or superconducting digital logic circuits.
- Experience coding in Python.
- At least one published research paper and one presentation at a relevant scientific conference.
- 7 years of research or industry experience in measurement, design, or simulation of superconducting qubits or superconducting digital logic.
- 3 years of experience leading research projects.
- Experience working with dilution refrigerators or microwave engineering.
- Experience in calibrating gates or other precise control of superconducting qubits.
- Proficiency with Python to interface with control electronics, execute measurements, and perform data analysis.
- Perform millikelvin measurements of superconducting circuits for quantum computing, including calibration of qubit gates, readout, and flux pulses using both room‑temperature and cryogenic electronics.
- Collaborate with qubit designers, fabrication engineers, and other measurement engineers to maximize device performance, reduce crosstalk, and improve gate fidelities.
- Build a fully integrated, modular chip stack that combines superconducting qubits with their control electronics directly within the cryogenic environment.
- Calibrate and characterize superconducting qubits and mixed‑signal circuits, including transmon, fluxonium, or single‑flux‑quantum (SFQ) superconducting circuits.
- Build and maintain software for control and analysis of these superconducting circuits.
- Design novel control schemes to calibrate qubits and interface with novel superconducting electronics.
- Partner with design, fabrication, and measurement teams to validate fully integrated quantum processors.
- Author high‑quality research papers and present findings at leading scientific conferences to advance the state‑of‑the‑art and enhance publicity.
