Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cable harness assembly and generation of cable drawing packages.
- Experience with common lab instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscope, LCR meter, programmable load/power supplies).
- Experience with soldering such as but not limited to fine pitch, Ball Grid Array/Land Grid Array (BGA/LGA) using soldering irons, tweezers, hot air rework pencils, preheaters, and reflow ovens.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and in a team environment.
As an Engineering Technician, you will engage in a variety of challenging projects, from building and prototyping robotic systems in laboratory settings to validating them in real‑world scenarios. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multi‑functional team dedicated to advancing the field of robotics.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $108,000 - $153,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities- Assist with electromechanical prototype builds including kitting, assembly, and testing.
- Rework PCBs in a variety of different applications.
- Inspect incoming parts and coordinate with external fab houses and contract manufacturers.
- Perform cable harness assembly for R&D prototyping and low‑quantity builds.
- Track inventory of parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies across multiple sites.
- Execute Detailed Design Verification Test (DVT) of PCBAs following existing test documentation.
