Defenceestimatingexperienceto workwitha number ofour key Defence sector clients.

Our team deliver a wide range of estimating outputs for our clients, to support their decision making, including:

Estimate/ cost model production (from Order of Magnitude through to detailed estimates)

Majorprogrammesestimating strategy

As aSenior Estimator within the Estimating teamat Turner & Townsend you willbe responsible for:

Supporting leadershipor managing the production ofaccurateand comprehensive estimates for projects/programmes

Playing asupportingrole in the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner &Townsend;

Playing asupportingrole in the achievement of departmental objectives;

Supportingbids for new work

Acting as a role model for less experienced staff

Staff management (where appropriate)

Supporting development and promotion of estimating best practice;

Staying abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise to be able to give best practice advice in line with business objectives;

Activelyhelping thedevelopmentof Defence Estimating across the business

Qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying orCost Engineering

Experience of working in the Defence sector

Demonstrable andproven experience in:

Compilation, assurance and delivery ofcomplex estimates and cost models

Working within an integrated

Project Controls team

Public sectorprojects

Excellent and flexible skills in Microsoft Office Suite(MS Excel, Work, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of working in a client-facing environment

Preferred:

Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level

Experienceinearly stage estimating in complex / major

Defence Infrastructure programmes

Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software packages
