V&V Engineer
Cambridge, MA (Onsite)
Job Description & Skill Requirement:- Design concepts, detail design, and drawings.
- Prototype assembly, verification, and testing.
- Conduct design reviews with the core team and documentation.
- DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA review and update.
- Coordination with Moldflow analysis and FEA team.
- Coordination with hardware team.
- Coordination with tooling vendors for quotes, prototype development, and production parts.
- Design support tooling and communications.
- Procure samples for verification test.
- Coordination with cross-functional teams marketing, manufacturing, testing, development, quality, risk management, regulatory, and service for change implementation.
- Support molding validation protocols IQ, OQ, and PQ review and finalize.
- Design verification, testing, and validation of product for the design requirements.
- Documentation for change release and project management.
- Regular discussions with the customer about project progress, risks, and updates.
- Provide Mentor Graphics schematic and PCB layout tool support.
- Design layout verification against industry standard rules.
